    Just outside of Las Vegas off Highway 15 is Nevada's Valley of Fire State Park.  Rainbow Vistas and White Domes await visitors in the "Mars like" setting of southern Nevada.  Rock walled campsites and easily accessible trails take hikers through landscapes of colorful rock in every direction.  First come first serve camping is available at Atlatl Rock Campground for $20 a night.

   Recommended Trails:

    1.)  White Domes Trail  (2 miles)

    2.)  Rainbow Vista  (1 mile)

    3.)  Mouse's Tank  

Lovell Canyon Campground & Red Rock Canyon

If you are planning on visiting Red Rock Canyon and tent camping in the area then look no further. Lovell Canyon Campground is a FREE campground located about 40 minutes from Red Rock Canyon and 50 minutes to the Las Vegas Strip. From Nevada State Rd 160 turn onto Lovell Canyon Road then continue on the paved road about a mile or two and chose any available spot you find. Because of the large open areas this campground has to offer it is great for families or large groups with multiple cars. Full 5G LTE was available at this location but there is no running water or bathrooms. Use the nearest gas station or go to Las Vegas for any of your needs.
